-Consultation requests from the inpatient services and/or emergency room will be assessed andtreated as follows:
-  * First call will be the CHCO resident
-  * If the CHCO resident is in the OR and can take the consult (evaluate within 3 hours), they should maintain responsibility.
-  * If the CHCO resident is off site and/or is in a case for which they cannot break out, it is their responsibility to sign their pager to the physician assistant. The physician assistant is available until 4 pm Monday-Friday. Please look ahead and plan accordingly once the weekly OR schedule is posted.
-  * If both the CHCO resident and the physician assistant are not available, it is their responsibility to notify the on call physician that they are not available and sign the pager to the on call physician who will be responsible for all calls until either the resident or physician assistant becomes available.
