GENERAL
The program coordinator will help you start the onboarding process (lots of forms, immunization records, your headshot for your badge, CV, etc). Some of it is done through an online system called Clinician Nexus. You can find contact information of everyone for each sites in the table at the end of this page.

It is up to you to coordinate with all of the surgeon's staff or directly with Cote. There is flexibility in choosing cases you're interested in seeing or prioritizing surgeons you are interested in working with. They all do in-clinic procedures as well.

SENIOR RESIDENT CLINIC SCHEDULE

SURGEONS
Jason Martin
Trained at MEETH. Does a variety of cases at Sky Ridge Medical and Lincoln Surgery Center. His office is the regional site for Bodytite/Facetite/Accutite (radiofrequency technology) training and he does a lot of these procedures in his Cherry Creek office (that he shares with Dr. Cohen and Dr. Mundra (former UC plastic resident)).
He has a non-cosmo practice in Vail as well, so he is their part time and Denver part time, usually wed-fri. His schedule in Denver changes weekly for in office vs Lincoln Surgical Center cases. Email Amy and she will send you the schedule every few weeks. You cannot scrub at Lincoln, just observe, You can get a sky ridge badge but he did not have cases there as of sept-oct 2025
Email Amy– she will let you know his schedule for the month (clinic and OR) so you can plan ahead.

Chris Cote
He is an ENT trained in facial plastics, has 15 years military experience of complex facial reconstruction. Focuses is thus on H&N with high volume rhinoplasties and airway procedures, primarily at Harvard Park Surgical, the schedule changes weekly but Tuesdays and Fridays he was at Harvard Park Surgery Center. He also has an office at Harvard Park where he does in office procedures. His schedule is all over the place so email him directly to make a plan. He really LOVES having residents and you can learn a lot from him.
You must get credentialed to work at Harvard Park and this can take up to 2 weeks to process, Contact is Susie Masten (SMasten@uspi.com) Craig know ahead of time to start working on this.

Nick Slenkovich
ENT residency then plastic surgery fellowship. Owns the Colorado Plastic Surgery Center where his clinic and OR cases are done. Lots of breast and body cases, vaginal rejuvenation/labiaplasty, some facial lasering and blephs. Breast aug cases are done awake. Very engaged in social media.
Now has a Fellow for Summer 2025 - Summer 2026 then she will stay on as an associated for 2 years after. Laura Roider, MD trained at SLU. May have less hands on opportunities while she is a fellow, then when she finishes that year maybe more opportunities.
Has cases Wednesdays and Thursday Email Sue Canada (Susan@plastic.md) the surgery coordinator for list of cases for them. But in general cases start at 8 am and even if I didn't know the cases ahead of time I would just show up, very predictable schedule. . Sue and Craig will get you credentialed so you can scrub and assist. This takes like 1-2 weeks, was super easy Craig did it all.

Manish Shah
Trained at MEETH. Formerly the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Denver Health. His clinic is in Englewood, but operates out of the CO PSC (above) on Fridays. He is known for rhinoplasties (particularly revisions), but also does a ton of face/neck. Very involved in social media.
On Monday and Tuesday he has in office face lifts and small rhinos which is good to see. Friday he does his asleep cases at CO PSC.
Email Amanda Isaacks (amanda@drmanishshah.com) for his schedule. Once you are there you can take a picture of the schedule on the wall. Also even if i didn't know the cases ahead of time most days started at 8 am and I would just show up. Very predictable schedule.

Linda Huang
Was told she no longer takes residents, I was plenty busy with the 4 above that I did not pursue working with her, if you are interested, reach out head of time.
She has been practicing in Denver since 1988. Does a variety of cases. Her breast augs are typically transaxillary. She was one of the first to perform explants for BII and has done ~10,000 breast implant removals and en bloc capsulectomies.
She operates out of PSL and the nearby Midtown Surgical Center. Her clinic is nearby as well. She also operates at Rose, where she cannot have residents. Her PA Bobbi controls the schedule and will email you before the rotation starts.

A GUIDE TO THE HOSPITALS/SURGERY CENTERS:
All sites have scrubs available in the locker rooms. At Shah's office just wear scrubs. At Martin's office just wear scrubs. They all wear figs, fabletics, non-hosp scrubs if you have those. But def not required. Other than the CO PSC, all hospitals are HealthOne sites and use Meditech as their EMR. HOWEVER in pre-op, the paper charts usually had a clinic H&P or progress note with the necessary information. - I never used or looked at the EMR, the attendings know you don't have access, they will just tell you about the patient.

TO THE OR/locker rooms: Go in and to the door on the right. That’s the pre/post area. Sue is usually sitting right at the desk. She can show you around but through the door to the left is the OR and to the left is the bathroom/“locker room”.
FOOD: No food there or near by

TO THE OR/locker rooms: Go in the main entrance, follow signs to surgical center. You check in/sign in with the surgery center front desk and they let you into the pre-op/locker room area. Change into scrubs there.
FOOD: Not sure, don't think they have any. But some restaurants across the street.

Harvard Park Medical and Surgery Center

TO THE OR/locker rooms: In the medical center where his clinic and procedure rooms are you just follow signs to his office (FacesFirst, Dr, Cote). For the surgery center, you park in the same parking lot and follow the signs to the emergency room. That back door will take you to the OR waiting room, if you have credentials you should get a badge and can head to lockers (waiting room clerk very nice and will show you) if not you can sign observer paper work. If you are observing the PATIENT must also sign a paper that they are okay with you observing, this has to be done in pre op. Just get credentialed if you can because it will also make Cote a lot happier if you can scrub in.
FOOD: Faculty Lounge with hot food, Cote will show you.

Shah's Office
Google Dr. Shah, Shah Aesthetic Surgery, there is a big fancy parking structure attached to his building Mezzie I think are the signs. I parked there but make sure you ask his front desk people to validate for you because its like 15$ after a few hours. Third floor. Non hosp scrubs if you have them.
There is a Starbucks in the building

Martin's Office
Right in Cherry Creek, Google Dr. Martin. There is a little lot behind the building. Non hosp scrubs if you have them.

Martin
PARKING: In the garage near the Spine Center. Use the crosswalk to go up the stairs to the unmarked employee entrance (not through the Spine Center or ED) You are now on the ground floor.
TO THE OR/locker rooms: Follow signs toward ED (lots of turns). Take Stair 5 near “Education and Marketing” up one floor to Floor 1. The OR entry is right there. Badge in and you can see the OR board screens on the left and front desk on the right. Someone can show you to the locker room through the lounge to the left after the board. There’s a keypad on the door but it’s always unlocked.
FOOD: On the ground floor, go past Stair 5 (turn left coming out of it) and take the next hallway on the right. First door on left is Physician Pantry. Badge in.

Sky Ridge Surgical Center (an ambulatory surgical center on the same campus as the hospital, aka 1st floor of the Conifer Building)
PARKING: Open lot in front.
TO THE OR/locker rooms: The building has multiple suites in addition to the ASC. Your badge is supposed to work for the ASC but mine didn’t. There’s a phone number on the door to the ASC to call and someone will let you in. This person can show you to the locker room.
FOOD: You can walk to the Physician Pantry in the main building for food. Otherwise, juice and crackers in PACU.
