Unfortunately Dr. Mathes has not approved reimbursing for Medical Licensing. I have followed up with Dr. Chong, but still have not gotten the ok.

Step 1: Download the PowerMic Mobile app

After downloading the App, make sure to close the App and turn OFF the wireless before continuing to Step 2. And, for the iPhone, you may need to cut and paste the link into Safari.

Step 2: Configure the PowerMic Mobile app

iPhone Users: Once you have downloaded the app, copy and paste the following link into Safari browser, from your smartphone to configure the application:

You can use any computer with an attached Powermic to dictate directly into EPIC or you can use your smart phone as a microphone as well.

Below are some troubleshooting guides to install Dragon Powermic Mobile for your smart phone. It’s a good idea to forward this email to your smart phone, so you can click on the links below depending on the type of phone you have.

Download PowerMic Mobile App from App Store (iPhone) or Play Store (Android).

You do not need to open the app after the download. If you’ve opened it, be sure to close it afterwards and clear it from being open in the background.

Turn off your WiFi and ensure the location you’re at has good cellular reception. If you choose to continue with
your WiFi on you may experience some complications especially if you’re on a guest (open/unsecure) network.
From within your smart phone’s default browser (i.e., Safari, Internet), access your email by its Web address
(http://mail.uchealth.org, www.gmail.com, www.outlook.com, etc.) and open the PowerMic Mobile Configuration email you should have received. From the email, cut and paste the configuration link intended for your device (iPhone or Android only) into the browser URL field. If the link is underlined and is a hyperlink, you can click it to run the configuration. If this doesn’t work, cut and paste instead.

The activation of the configuration link should pop up a “Open with…” window (in which you’ll select the PowerMic Mobile) and the license agreement screen. Once past these screens you’ll be at the PowerMic Mobile login\\.
Launch Epic, and from the menu bar at the top of the screen, click on the Dragon Login button. Ensure the username is correct and that the PowerMic Mobile is selected, then click ok.
On your smart phone, log into the PowerMic Mobile using your EPIC username login. The PowerMic Mobile app should begin to sync with Dragon. If the device doesn’t sync, you can enter the pairing ID from dragon into phone.
